* West Baker Street and College Avenue: Forgery was reported at 5:35
p.m. Friday.
* Bristol Street: Theft of an access card was reported in the 3300
block at 2 p.m. Friday.
* Harbor Boulevard: Grand theft was reported in the 2200 block at 8:43
p.m. Friday.
* Newport Boulevard: Possession of a controlled substance was reported
in the 2600 block at 6:08 a.m. Friday.
* South Coast Drive: An individual was reported to have been under the
influence of a controlled substance in the 1100 block at 12:45 p.m.
Friday.
* Superior Avenue: A hit and run was reported in the 1700 block at
2:28 a.m. Thursday.
* West 19th Street: Assault and battery was reported in the 700 block
at 1:10 p.m. Friday.
* East 17th Street: An individual was reported drunk in public in the
300 block at 1:50 a.m. Saturday.
NEWPORT BEACH
* Cagney Lane: A garage door opener and $10 in change were reported
stolen from a car parked in the 200 block at 9:53 a.m. Friday.
* Campus Drive: Computer equipment was reported stolen from a business
in the 4500 block at 10:34 p.m. Friday.
* Channel Place: A hood ornament was reported stolen from a car in the
3800 block at 8:11 a.m. Friday.
* Channel Place: Vandals reportedly broke a side-view mirror of a car
parked in the 3800 block at 8:11 a.m. Friday.
* San Sebastian Way: A mailbox was reported stolen in the first block
at 10:40 a.m. Friday.
* Seashore and 46th Street: Vandals reportedly scratched a parked
vehicle at 5:20 p.m. Friday.
* East 16th Street: Petty theft was reported in the 1800 block at 3
p.m. Friday.
* 30th Street and Newport Boulevard: Disorderly conduct involving
alcohol was reported at 1:50 a.m. Friday.
