Bounty Circle: A water vehicle was reported stolen from a dock in the
3000 block at 10:56 a.m. Sunday.
Grunion Lane: A 54-year-old female reported a petty theft. The victim
said cash and checks were taken in the 16500 block at 4:46 p.m. July 12.
Main Street: A report of vandalism was filed after someone was
allegedly seen painting the street yellow before leaving the scene in a
white vehicle at the corner of Main Street and Pacific Coast Highway at
4:31 a.m.
Newland Street: A hit-and-run on a parked vehicle was reported in the
17800 block at 4:59 p.m. Saturday.
Newland Street: The resident’s grandmother slept in her room when an
intruder allegedly entered her house and stole jewelry in the 18600 block
at 10:25 a.m. Saturday.
Pacific Coast Highway: A report of trespassing was received when two
nonresidents of the complex were seen in the Jacuzzi in the 1900 block at
2:42 p.m. Saturday.
Pier Plaza: An incident of disturbing the peace was reported when two
males engaged in a street fight at 10:28 a.m. Sunday.
17th Street: A caller reported hazardous conditions as he was running
in the area and noticed what appeared to be crude oil coming up from the
ground and running into the gutter at Pacific Coast Highway at 11:30 a.m.
Saturday.
Slater Avenue: A female caller reported hearing noises and things
moving around under the porch area of her home in the 7800 block at 1:15
a.m. Friday.
Townsquare Lane: A suspicious vehicle was reported to be parked in an
underground lot. The tan Buick’s door was open and interior lights were
on in the 400 block at 2:21 p.m. Sunday.
Warner Avenue: Two men were reported fighting at the rear of an
apartment complex in the 6500 block at 4:44 a.m. Friday.
