The Costa Mesa Mobile Skate Park will visit several city parks this
month.
A new recreational program for skateboarders and in-line skaters, the
mobile skate park will visit TeWinkle Park, 970 Arlington Drive, on
Tuesdays; Tanager Park, 1780 Hummingbird Drive, on Thursdays; and Wakeham
Park, 3400 Smalley St., on Fridays.
The park is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Entrance is free, but waiver forms
must be completed and singed by parents for anyone younger than 18.
Waiver forms are available at the park or can be printed from the city’s
Web site, https://www.ci.costa-mesa.ca.us.
Full safety equipment, including a helmet, elbow and knee pads, is
required and is available at the park.
Skateboarding and in-line skating are allowed, but no Razor scooters
or bicycles can be used at the park.
In August, the skate park will visit TeWinkle, Wakeham and Balearic
parks.
