* Fairview Road: A vehicle was reported stolen in the 2800 block at

4:44 p.m. Wednesday.

* Newport Boulevard: A grand theft was reported in the 2000 block at

7:12 p.m. Wednesday.

* East 17th Street: An embezzlement was reported in the 200 block at

8:44 p.m. Wednesday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* West Coast Highway: A motor was reported stolen from the South Shore

Yacht Club’s storage shed in the 2500 block at 9:08 a.m. Wednesday.

* Newport Boulevard: A man was suspected of being under the influence

of a controlled substance at 23rd Street at 1:35 a.m. Wednesday.

* 40th Street: Disorderly conduct involving alcohol was reported in

the 400 block at 1:50 a.m. Wednesday.
