* Brookhurst Street: A burglar alarm was set off in the 18120 block at
7:22 a.m. Friday.
* Bushard Street: Battery was reported in the 17810 block at 12:57
p.m. May 8.
* Cardinal Avenue: A prowler was reported in the 10260 block at 11:08
p.m. Sunday.
* El Coco Circle: A burglar alarm was set off in the 10900 block at
10:16 a.m. Monday.
* Mammoth Circle: Shots were reported in the 18060 block at 9:04 p.m.
Saturday.
* Stonecress Avenue: A stolen vehicle was reported in the 11150 block
at 6:28 a.m. Friday.
HUNTINGTON BEACH
* Dog Beach: A resident told police that two large dogs were biting at
a seal that had apparently washed up onto the shore at 4:43 p.m. May 10.
* Gothard Street: Police and fire officials responded to a mobile home
on fire in the 27000 block at 8:28 p.m. Friday.
* Hammon Lane: A woman told police that she heard a gunshot, and saw
its flash, in the 14000 block at 9:27 p.m. May 10.
* Main Street: A woman told police that her daughter was receiving
death threats from the boyfriend of a friend, who was also calling her
extremely derogative names, at a home in the 100 block at 7:46 p.m. May
7.
* Seaston Drive: Police responded to a report of shots fired, where a
resident claimed to have heard four successive shots spaced apart while
in the 7000 block at 12:04 a.m. May 7.
