Costa Mesa:
Adams Avenue: A resident told police that lewd conduct was underway in
the 1900 block at 3:01 p.m. Thursday.
Elden Avenue: Police received the report of an individual drunk in
public in the 2200 block at 11:55 p.m. Thursday.
San Clemente Drive: A resident complained to police of receiving a
number of annoying phone calls at a home in the 2500 block at 12:43 a.m.
Thursday.
East 17th Street: Police received a report of indecent exposure in the
200 block at 1:09 p.m. Thursday.
Newport Beach:
Aliso Avenue: A man told police that someone was calling his home up
to three times a day, making beeping noises and then hanging up in the
500 block at 10:15 p.m. Friday.
Bayview Circle: Police received a grand theft report from a man
claiming someone had stolen two tires, worth about $2,500, and attempted
to take the rest from his vehicle while it was parked in the 300 block at
8:00 p.m. Thursday.
Hoag Drive: A cell phone worth $100 was reportedly stolen from a
woman’s purse while she sat in the lobby of Hoag Memorial Hospital in the
10 block at 9:00 p.m. Friday.
Newport Center Drive: Someone reportedly smashed the rear driver’s
side window of a parked car and stole a briefcase, for a total loss of
about $900, from the 600 block at 10:46 p.m. Friday.
