COSTA MESA
* Austin Street: Vandalism was reported in the 1100 block at 6:29 p.m.
Thursday.
* West Baker Street: Grand theft was reported in the 600 block at
12:43 p.m. Thursday.
* East 17th Street: A commercial burglary was reported in the 100
block at 8:03 a.m. Thursday.
NEWPORT BEACH
* Irvine Avenue: Vandals reportedly smashed the windows of a school
district vehicle at Newport Harbor High School at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.
* Mariners Drive: A teacher at Mariners Elementary School reported
that somebody stole her credit cards from her wallet, which was placed on
the floor of her classroom under a desk. The incident was reported at 5
p.m. Wednesday.
* Newport Pier: A cellular phone placed in a shoe was reportedly
stolen at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday when the victim was swimming in the ocean.
* Seaview Avenue: A ceramic pig, patio umbrella, water fountain and
chandelier were reportedly stolen from a home’s courtyard in the 2700
block at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday.
