Men’s basketball: Hagedorn to play at Sonoma State

COSTA MESA - Former Orange Coast College men’s basketball standout
Chad Hagedorn will continue his academic and athletic careers at Sonoma
State University, according to the Pirates’ Sports Information
Department.
Hagedorn, a 6-foot-4 forward, played for OCC from 1999-2001 and
averaged 17 points and 11 rebounds last year.
Hagedorn reached double figures in points or rebounds in 27 of 29
games played for the Pirates, including 13 double-doubles.
He was OCC’s Co-Most Valuable Player with Nick Burwell and was an
All-Orange Empire Conference first-team selection. His most impressive
came Feb. 9 at Riverside where Hagedorn scored 23 points and grabbed 22
rebounds.
