Serving People in Need (SPIN) will hold a fashion show May 4 at the
Four Seasons Hotel to raise money for its program.
The nonprofit organization helps Orange County’s working poor and
single mothers achieve independence by helping them to find housing, by
offering job training and educational support as well as substance abuse
recovery and crisis intervention.
The Costa Mesa-based organization, which was founded in 1987, also
runs a food bank that provides meals to the homeless.
The benefit event will include raffles, opportunity drawings and a
silent auction with prizes such as fine wines, facials and clothes. The
grand prize is a one-week stay at a country club in Florida.
Tickets for the event, which includes lunch, cost $85. The benefit
begins at 11 a.m. at the Four Seasons Hotel’s palm garden, 690 Newport
Center Drive, Newport Beach.
