Lucky Charms roll on

The Lucky Charms collected two more wins in Huntington Beach Girls

Softball Under-8 Division play last weekend, beating the Blue Angels, 7-5

and Royal Blue Dolphins, 10-6.

Pitchers Ashlyn Pooler and Kelli McClin combined for the win against

the Blue Angels. Pooler pitched three innings and struck out six -

including the final three batters she faced. McClin, in her first

pitching appearance, fanned two.

McClin also figured in the offensive attack with two hits. Jennifer Le

also had two his and three RBI. Other key hits were contributed by

Madison Clark, Kimberly Vucinic and Kate West.

Against the Royal Blue Dolphins, Nicole Saitto, Pooler and McClin

combined for the win.

Clark singled and doubled, Kate West had two hits and an RBI, Le hit

at two-run triple, Kylie Corder had a pair of singles and an RBI and

Andrea Stange had a single and RBI-triple.

Pitcher Melissa Johnson struck out eight for the Royal Blue Dolphins,

who were led on offense by Sarah Craig, Ashleigh Arnone and Johnson.
