* Brookhurst Street: Lost property was reported in the 17000 block at
8:43 p.m. April 19.
* Brookhurst Street: A juvenile disturbance was reported in the 17300
block at 9:21 p.m. Saturday.
* Garfield Avenue: A drunk driver was reported in the 9100 block at
1:59 p.m. Saturday.
* Royale Court: A family dispute was reported in the 15900 block at
11:09 a.m. Monday.
* Santa Maria Street: An overdose was reported in the 17600 block at
11:10 p.m. Friday.
* San Mateo Street: A disturbance of the peace was reported in the
17100 block at 3:21 p.m. Sunday.
* Slater Avenue: A commercial burglary was reported in the 10100 block
at 10:16 a.m. Monday.
* Spruce Circle: A suspicious circumstance was reported in the 18600
block at 10:59 p.m. Friday.
* Talbert Avenue: A grand theft was reported in the 10100 block at
7:47 p.m. Friday.
* Verbena Court: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 11900 block at
2:03 p.m. Sunday.
* Windsor Avenue: Loud music was reported in the 9000 block at 10:43
p.m. Saturday.
HUNTINGTON BEACH
* Alhambra Drive: A resident told police that three children were
shooting off fireworks from the middle of the street in the 7000 block at
9:59 p.m. April 17.
* Bushard Street: Police and fire officials responded to a car fire in
the 19000 block at 10:09 p.m. Saturday.
* Dog Park: A resident told police that someone had apparently left
two dogs in cages in the park overnight at 6:35 a.m. April 18.
* Erwin Lane: A resident told police that vandals had apparently egged
her white Volvo station wagon while it was parked in front of a residence
in the 17000 block at 9:09 a.m. Friday.
* Gettysburg Drive: Residents complained to police about loud music,
possibly from a live band, blaring from the backyard of a home in the
9000 block at 4:07 a.m. Sunday.
* Indianapolis Street: Four suspects reportedly smashed the windows of
a number of portable buildings in the 9000 block at 7:50 p.m. Sunday.
* Inverness Lane: A family disturbance was reported at a home in the
19000 block at 7:05 p.m. April 16.
* Lennox Drive: A resident told police that an undisclosed number of
juveniles were digging big holes in a park to make bike ramps near the
6000 block at 10:36 a.m. April 16.
* Pickwick Lane: A resident complained to police about receiving
numerous annoying phone calls over a two-week period, up to 12 in one
day, at a residence in the 4000 block at 6:25 p.m. April 17.
* Springdale Street: Someone reportedly broke into a carport lock box
and took clothes, suitcases, a camping stove, lantern and propane tanks
for a parking stall in the 16000 block at 9:41 a.m. April 19.
* Springtime Lane: A juvenile between the ages of 12- and 13-years-old
was reported for recklessly driving a motorized scooter up and down the
street in the 18000 block at 4:40 p.m. April 19.
* Talbert Avenue: A Central Library patron reportedly complained that
a $13 late fee for a book was excessive, offered to buy it and
subsequently stole the book, valued at $43, from the 7000 block library
at 3:29 p.m. April 18.
* Toulouse Drive: Police responded to a family disturbance reported at
a residence in the 7000 block at 2:36 p.m. Saturday.
* Warner Avenue: Police received a complaint of a loud party, with
people screaming in the night, in the 6000 block at 11:45 p.m. Friday.
