Boys swim: CdM tops Mesa, 125-25

COSTA MESA - Corona del Mar High’s Matt Meyer and Marcello

Pantuliano each won two individual events Wednesday as the Sea Kings

defeated host Costa Mesa, 125-25, in a Pacific Coast League boys swim

meet.

Meyer won the 100-yard freestyle (51.72) and 200 free (1:54.80), while

Pantuliano touched first in the 200 individual medley (2:13.46) and 100

breaststroke (1:06.46).

Garrett Bowlus (59.72 in the 100 backstroke) and John Money (24.29 in

the 50 free) also recorded impressive individual wins for CdM, which

improved to 7-2, 4-1 in the PCL.

The Sea Kings will host the PCL preliminaries Tuesday and league

finals May 4.
