Baseball: Sailors fall to Aliso Niguel

NEWPORT BEACH - The Newport Harbor High softball team managed only

two hits in Tuesday’s 4-0 Sea View League loss to visiting Aliso Niguel.

Stephanie Ciralli and Bailey Beardon had the Sailors’ lone hits as

Aliso Niguel’s Amanda Samonte pitched a complete-game gem with no walks

and eight strikeouts.

The Sailors (9-11, 0-4 in league) will host Irvine on Thursday,

beginning at 3:30 p.m.
