* Avenue of the Arts: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 3300

block at 10:10 a.m. Thursday.

* Bimini Place: A grand theft was reported in the 1600 block at 8:52

a.m. Thursday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Arbutus Street: Annoying nighttime telephone calls were reported by

a resident in the 1500 block at 9:48 a.m. Wednesday.

* East Bay Avenue: A potted palm tree was reported stolen from the

front yard of a residence in the 400 block at 5:15 p.m. Thursday.

* Jamboree Road: Diamond rings valued at $11,000 were reported stolen

from a car in the 3300 block at 5:19 p.m. Tuesday.
