B.W. COOK -- The Look
The House of Frette -- founded in Monza, Italy in 1865 and
internationally recognized as one of the world’s finest purveyors of
linen -- opened in June 2000 at South Coast Plaza. It is the first Frette
boutique not located in a major city, speaking to the strength of the
Newport-Mesa region as a retail and shopping destination. Along with
clothing, Frette also sells merchandise for the home.
Modeling the recently introduced Frette to Wear, cashmere home wear,
is local society doyenne Margo Chamberlin. When not serving a variety of
worthy local causes, Chamberlin handles the public relations and
development responsibilities of the Mind Institute, devoted to improving
the education of children through music and other avenues that expand the
learning capabilities of young people.
