Golden West College will present several performances of “Our Town”

this month.

The Thornton Wilder play, which depicts life in a small New Hampshire

village at the dawn of the 20th century, will be Tom Amen’s directorial

debut on the Mainstage. He joined Golden West College late last year.

Produced on a bare stage with minimal props and period costumes, the

play is a hallmark of American Theater and a haunting exploration of the

life process.

The dates and times of the performances are Friday, Saturday, March 23

and 24 at 8 p.m. There will be a matinee at 3 p.m. Sunday and March 25.

Tickets are $10.50 for general admission; $8.50 for students, Gold Key

cardholders and children under 12.

Golden West College is at 15744 Goldenwest St., Huntington Beach.

Parking is recommended using the Center Drive and Gothard Street

entrance.

The Mainstage Box Office is open 90 minutes before each performance or

tickets may be reserved by calling (714) 895-8150.
