Boys Golf: CdM has lead

NEWPORT BEACH - The Corona del Mar boys golf team has a 197-202

lead over Aliso Niguel after nine holes at the Newport Beach Country Club

Tuesday.

CdM sophomore Brad Chamberlin led the Sea Kings (2-0), finishing three

shots over and sophomore Tim Frohling came in four shots over on the

par-35 course. Nick Sherman, John and Joe Kwon each shot 40, helping CdM

reach its best score of the season, which came against the eighth-ranked

team in Orange County.

The second half of the match will be played at Monarch Beach Golf
