RESTAURANT EXPANSION

Plums restaurant is requesting an expansion of the restaurant and

catering business to provide more seating and kitchen space, as well as

expanded hours to include a dinner menu. A conditional use permit is also

being requested since the restaurant is within 200 feet of a residential

zone and a minor conditional use permit is needed for extra parking due

to the expansion of the dining area.

WHAT TO EXPECT: The Planning Commission is expected to approve the

changes.

GARAGES AND FENCES

A one-car garage addition and a 6-foot high block fence are being

requested at a single-family residence. The home already has a two-car

garage. The proposed project will not create an adverse impacts to

surrounding properties.

WHAT TO EXPECT: The Planning Commission is expected to approve the

request.

RIDING AROUND IN YOUR AUTOMOBILE

A request to legalize an existing car sales and leasing business,

which includes outdoor storage and display of vehicles, and the detailing

of cars sold by the business, is being requested. In 1998, the business

owner applied for a conditional use permit to allow retail sales and

leasing of automobiles. The business was depicted as a low-key business

with little or no customer traffic.

WHAT TO EXPECT: The Planning Commission is expected to approve the

request.
