COSTA MESA
* Maple Avenue: A residential burglary was reported in the 1900 block
at 7:50 a.m. Thursday.
* Newport Boulevard: A 22-year-old man was arrested at 3:03 a.m.
Thursday on suspicion of committing a vandalism in the 1800 block.
* West Baker Street: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 600 block
at 8:08 a.m. Thursday.
NEWPORT BEACH
* Seashore Drive and 46th Street: A man was arrested on suspicion of
possessing a hypodermic needle and syringe at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Bail was
set at $250.
* Via Lido: Police reported that someone allegedly threw two large
batteries at a sliding glass door of the pay booth in a parking garage in
the 3400 block at 9:34 a.m. Tuesday.
* West Coast Highway and Hoag Drive: A woman was arrested on suspicion
of stealing an access card at 8 p.m. Monday. Bail was set at $10,000.
