Softball: Pirates fall to Saddleback

COSTA MESA - The Orange Coast College softball lost for the fourth

time in five days with a 10-2 Orange Empire Conference loss to visiting

Saddleback Friday afternoon.

The Gauchos (4-5, 2-3 in conference) jumped out quickly, scoring eight

runs (four earned) in the top of the fourth inning.

The Pirates (5-8-1, 0-6) were their worst enemies. They committed six

errors on Friday and have committed 20 errors in their past four games.

Meredith Miles had three stolen bases and scored both runs. She now

has 13 stolen bases this season.

Jennifer Jensen and Renee Snyder each went 2 for 3.

OCC will host Irvine Valley Monday at 3 p.m.
