Women’s Tennis: OCC remains undefeated in conference
COSTA MESA - In a battle of Orange Empire Conference leaders, the
Orange Coast College women’s tennis team remained undefeated with a 6-2
victory over visiting Saddleback Monday.
The match closed out the first round of OEC for the Pirates (6-1, 4-0
in conference).
The Bucs took four singles matches and two doubles over the Gauchos
(3-3, 2-1)
OCC’s Veronica Sommer, who has outscored her opponents, 60-12, in her
past five matches, won easily over Cecilla Loreto, 6-1, 6-2.
