* West Baker Street: Vandalism was reported in the 600 block at 1:43

p.m. Sunday.

* West Baker and Enterprise streets: A 28-year-old man was arrested at

11 p.m. Sunday on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and drug

paraphernalia. The man also had an outstanding warrant.

* West 19th Street: A 44-year-old man was arrested in the 700 block at

3:05 p.m. Sunday on suspicion of being under the influence of a

controlled substance and of possessing drug paraphernalia.

NEWPORT BEACH

* 51st Street and Seashore Drive: A woman was arrested on suspicion of

possessing a controlled narcotic substance at 5:15 a.m. Saturday. Bail

was set at $10,000.

* Centella Place: The hood of a car was reported to be vandalized in

the 1700 block at noon Sunday.

* Central Avenue and Via Oporto: A man was arrested on suspicion of

possessing deceptive government identification at 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

Bail was set at $500.

* East 16th Street: Mail was allegedly stolen from a mailbox in the

2400 block at 2:20 p.m. Thursday.
