Pet of the week
Misha, a 6-month-old spayed female cat who was rescued from death, is
available for adoption through the Community Animal Network. It had been
thought that Misha was pregnant, but when she was taken to the
veterinarian, he said she had the worst case of worms and parasites he
had ever seen. Misha spent three weeks in the hospital being treated for
a full-body infection. She had to be force-fed baby food and other food
intravenously. She is eating on her own now.
See other rescued dogs and cats each Saturday and Sunday from noon to
4 p.m. at Russo’s Pet Experience at Fashion Island, Newport Center Drive,
Newport Beach.
The Community Animal Network is a community-supported animal
