SCHOOL LUNCH MENU

The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day

at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree if

desired. The selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or hot

entree. School lunches are $1.75 each; the district does not accept

checks for less than $17.50. Here’s what’s being served this week:

TODAY

Munchable Lunch Salad with fruit yogurt, or peanut butter and jelly

“uncrustable” sandwich with blended yogurt, choice of fruit and 100%

fruit juice, choice of milk

WEDNESDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or sourdough French bread pizza, crisp green

salad with low-fat dressing, peach cup, choice of milk

THURSDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or turkey and gravy, potatoes, fresh baked roll,

strawberries, choice of milk

FRIDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or bean and cheese burrito with lettuce, cheese

and salsa, mixed fruit, choice of milk

MONDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or chicken patty sandwich on a bun, potato

smiles, rosy applesauce, choice of milk

* The Munchable Lunch Salad contains tossed greens, cherry tomatoes,

crackers and protein sources such as cheese, sunflower seeds, fruit

yogurt, honey-roasted peanuts and dressing.
