* Newport Boulevard: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 2500 block

at 1:57 p.m. Wednesday.

* 20th Street and Palace Avenue: Vandalism was reported at 9:23 a.m.

Wednesday.

* West Baker Street: A commercial burglary was reported in the 1000

block at 1:27 p.m. Wednesday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* West Balboa Boulevard: Police reported that someone allegedly stole

a purse with items worth $250 from a car in the 1100 block at 5:15 p.m.

Thursday.

* West Coast Highway: Police reported that someone allegedly stole a

cellular phone worth $180 at a restaurant in the 2100 block at 9 a.m.

Wednesday.
