block at 2:03 a.m. Saturday.
* Chenille Avenue: Someone reported a disturbance of the peace in the
9000 block at 9:12 p.m. Sunday.
* Daisy Avenue: Someone reported a stolen vehicle in the 9000 block at
9:26 a.m. Sunday.
* El Ranchero Avenue: Someone reported a fireworks disturbance in the
8000 block at 4:02 p.m. Feb. 8.
* La Hacienda Avenue: Police responded to a vehicle burglary in the
10000 block at 4:24 p.m. Sunday.
* Liatris Circle: Police responded to a burglary committed in the 9000
block at 2:07 p.m. Tuesday.
* Mount Darwin Circle: Police responded to a family disturbance in the
16000 block at 8:11 p.m. Feb. 8.
* Mount Kenya Circle: A resident reported a juvenile disturbance in
the 16000 block at 11:45 p.m. Saturday.
* Rindge Circle: A burglar alarm was set off in the 9000 block at 1:27
a.m. Tuesday.
* Siskin Avenue: A resident reported a peace disturbance in the 9000
block at 7:35 p.m. Tuesday.
* Warner Avenue: Someone reported an auto tampering in the 9000 block
at 9:10 p.m. Saturday.
* Warner Avenue: Police responded to a forgery report in the 9000
block at 6:16 p.m. Friday.
HUNTINGTON BEACH* Breezy Lane: A resident told police that someone
stole a lawn statue from a front lawn of a home in the 18000 block at
5:24 p.m. Feb. 5.
* Brookhurst Street: A ceramic birdbath valued at $60 was reported
stolen from a yard in the 19000 block at 4:50 p.m. Saturday.
* Edinger Avenue: A man reportedly stole two cases of liquor from an
establishment, escaped through an emergency exit and drove off in a white
vehicle in the 7000 block at 10:11 p.m. Sunday.
* Heil Avenue: A woman claimed a 9-year-old boy reportedly threatened
her son with a small knife in the 4900 block at 7:35 p.m. Feb. 6.
* Mahalo Drive: A woman told police she spotted a prowler creeping
around in her backyard in the 9000 block at 12:15 a.m. Saturday.
* Ondine Circle: Police responded to a family disturbance reported at
a home in the 4000 block at 9:47 a.m. Friday.
* Pacific Coast Highway: A man reportedly threatened a couple with a
kayak paddle in the 16000 block at 11:43 a.m. Saturday.
* Springdale and Bolsa avenues: A man reported hearing an explosion
and seeing smoke and fire from a manhole, the cover of which popped
popped off in the intersection at 12:18 a.m. Feb. 5.
* Topeka Lane: Someone complained to police about a group of juveniles
recklessly driving around a park in the 19000 block at 2:07 p.m. Feb. 8.
* Warner Avenue: Three men, all about 20 years old, reportedly entered
a store, stole a Shetland terrier valued at $800, and drove off in a late
model, beige, four-door sedan in the 8000 block at 4:56 p.m. Feb. 7.
* Williams Avenue: Police responded to a report of shots fired after
an officer heard a loud blast, akin to the firing of a shotgun, in the
700 block at 8:26 p.m. Sunday.
* Woodland Knots Drive: Several thousand dollars worth of first trust
deeds were reported stolen after being entrusted to an Irvine man’s firm
in the 19000 block at 11:59 a.m. Feb. 5.
* 8th Street: Someone complained to police that a neighbor living
behind a home accused a resident of throwing paint into a backyard. The
resident’s yard was also recently vandalized with paint, resulting in
damaged property in the 400 block at 7:09 p.m. Feb. 6.
* 9th Street: A resident told police that someone had thrown a can of
paint from an alley into the backyard of a home, damaging a storage unit
in the 400 block at 6:55 p.m. Feb. 6.
* 9th Street and Pacific Coast Highway: Someone was reportedly playing
with fireworks on the beach after curfew near the intersection at 11:56
p.m. Feb. 7.
