Jazz is perfect after 51-47 win

The Jazz capped a perfect regular season on Sunday by holding off the
Jabberwalkies, 51-47, in a Fountain Valley boys’ National Junior
Basketball game played at Fountain Valley High.
The Jazz had three players score in double figures as Derek Kramer
finished with 14 points, Jeremy Johnson had 13 and Vasken Keleshian added
10.
Jim Walker-Camarillo scored eight points, Paul Walker-Camarillo had
six points and Sam Anderson and Ronnie Gardener played outstanding
defense to complete the attack as the Jazz concluded the regular season
with a 7-0 mark.
Chris Debowski hit six three-point shots and led all scorers with 29
points and also had seven steals and six rebounds, and Matt Derocili
scored 16 points and had nine rebounds to lead the Jabberwalkies.
IN OTHER GAMES:
Lakers 54, Bruins 45
Alex Le scored 16 points, Viet Nguyen had 15 points, Jeff Sett netted
10 points, and Guy Garcia and Kevin Woods each contributed six points as
the Lakers ended the regular season with a 3-4 record.
DIVISION II
Barons 34, Lakers 31
Stuart Schultz scored 10 of his game-high 20 points in the final
period and also had four three-point baskets as the Barons rallied from
an early eight-point deficit as well as a five-point deficit entering the
final quarter of play. Matt Randol led the Barons in rebounding with
seven, and Scott Sorenson, Erik Rhoten and Andrew Olmstead played great
defense.
SEVENTH-GRADE ALL-NET
FV No. 2 43, Laguna Beach 41 (OT)
Sean Carroll scored 12 points, Bryan Bissonette had 10 points and
eight rebounds, Jimmy Flanagan scored nine points and had seven rebounds
and Adam Czajkowski grabbed 10 caroms Sunday as Fountain Valley No. 2
(3-4 in South Conference play) rallied back from an eight point
fourth-quarter deficit to defeat previously unbeaten Laguna Beach in
overtime.
