Baseball: Lions fall in opener
THOUSAND OAKS - The Vanguard University baseball team opened its
2001 season with a 12-8 nonconference loss to host Cal Lutheran Tuesday.
Andy Riddell went 3 for 5 including a double and a home run for the
Lions with a run and 3 RBIs, while Matt Tisthammer added two hits, two
runs and two RBIs.
The Lions will play at Cal St. Los Angeles today at 3:30 p.m.
