FRESNO - Visiting Vanguard University was handled, 77-55, by Fresno
Pacific in a Golden State Athletic Conference women’s basketball game
Saturday night.
Vanguard (9-4, 1-2 in conference) trailed only 33-28 at halftime, but
the Sunbirds (10-6, 1-2) pulled away from there, behind Teresa Kamps, who
had 14 points, nine rebounds, hit 4 of 5 from the field and 6 of 7 from
the line.
Kelly Boeke paced Vanguard with 12 points, while Erin Edmiston had a
double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
