De Soto Avenue: A new razor scooter was stolen from an open garage in

the 2000 block shortly after 2 p.m. Thursday.

South Coast Drive: A car was broken into in the 1000 block shortly

before 7 a.m. Thursday.

South Coast Plaza: A burglary was reported at Macy’s department store

at 7:40 p.m. Thursday.

NEWPORT BEACH

Ebbtide Road: A thief broke into a home in the 1100 block and stole a

total of $8,500 worth of jewelry from a dresser between 3 p.m. Monday and

11 a.m. Tuesday.

Superior Avenue: A car was broken into in the 1400 block at 6 p.m.

Thursday.

Cagney Lane: A car was broken into in the 200 block at noon Monday.
