Roller Hockey: Harbor falls to Northwood
IRVINE - Newport Harbor High’s Jeremy Truelove scored two goals,
while Robert Rutter, Jason Spenser and Chase Kelly smacked in one shot
each. But it wasn’t enough for the Newport Harbor club roller hockey
team.
In a game that featured six lead changes, Harbor was outlasted by
Northwood, 7-5, on Dec. 20 at the Wayne Gretzky Hockey Center in Irvine.
The fast-paced game seemed to have catered more to Northwood as it
used three players to gain goals. The defense kept Harbor in the game as
Alex Whitesides, Brett Robinson and Vincent Mungo broke up Northwood’s
scoring chances.
