* Harbor Boulevard: Assault and battery was reported in the 2800 block
at 2:05 p.m. Monday.
* Monrovia Avenue and Towne Street: Drinking alcohol in public was
reported at 4:20 a.m. Monday.
* Presidio Drive: Possession of a controlled substance was reported in
the 900 block at 2 a.m. Monday.
NEWPORT BEACH
* Bedford Lane: A cellular phone and a bag of stuffed animals were
reported stolen from a parked vehicle in a carport in the 1600 block at
9:38 a.m. Monday.
* Newport Center Drive: Embezzlement by an employee was reported in
the 100 block at 1:05 p.m. Sunday.
* St. James Place: Miscellaneous electrical equipment valued at about
$16,000 was reported stolen in the 600 block at 11:11 a.m. Sunday.
