3:24 p.m. Thursday.

* Secretariat Circle: Grand theft was reported in the 1000 block at

4:21 p.m. Thursday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* West Balboa Boulevard: Carpet cleaning machines valued at $2,600

were stolen from a room in Newport Elementary School at 9:34 a.m.

Wednesday.

* Corporate Plaza Drive: A cellular phone and a duffel bag were

reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the first block at 10:38 a.m.

Wednesday.

* Sherington Place: Computers valued at $8,000 were reported stolen

from a vehicle in the 1900 block at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
