Orange Coast College’s Dance Department will hold auditions at 11:30
a.m. Jan. 31 for the college’s May performances of “Fiesta Latina,” an
OCC dance and cultural heritage outreach program. The show tours county
elementary schools and takes place onstage at the theater. Dancers
selected for “Fiesta Latina” must enroll in an OCC dance class in the

Classic Christmas tunes for the family
“Home for the Holidays,” a Mervyn’s Musical Morning Family Concert,
will be held at 10 and 11:30 a.m. Saturday with the Pacific Symphony
Orchestra at the Orange County Performing Arts Center, 600 Town Center
Drive, Costa Mesa. The show will include classic Christmas carols. A
Musical Treasure Hunt will begin at 9 a.m. for those attending the 10
a.m. performance, and at 12:15 p.m. for those attending the 11:30 a.m.

A ‘Cinderella’ program for children
The Orange County Performing Arts Center and American Ballet Theatre
have created Kids Day Matinees for the company’s Dec. 22-23 performances
of “Cinderella” at the Orange County Performing Arts Center, 600 Town
Center Drive, Costa Mesa. The program will begin at 12:45 p.m., with “Cinderella” beginning at 2 p.m.
Youngsters can learn some of the show’s choreography, dress in
costume, have their photos taken with dancers, make masks, face paint and
more. The pre-performance events are free to ticket holders, but
