Biscuit Boyz outlast Flyers, 13-12

The Biscuit Boyz scored six goals in the final period last weekend

to wipe out a three goal deficit, then held on to defeat the Flyers,

13-12, in a Mite Club Division contest played at Coast 2 Coast Inline

Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

The high-scoring affair featured six goals and two assists by the

Flyers’ Matt Deutschmann.

Darryl Morita paced the Biscuit Boyz with four goals and one assist,

Mark Kanow scored three goals and had two assists, Stephen Nelson scored

twice with a pair of assists, Sam Robinson had one goal and three

assists, Matt Bastien scored once with two assists, Jeffrey Kurokawa

scored once with two assists, Kenneth Sabraw scored once, Jamie Dyke had

two assists, and goalie Trevor Carroll had 17 saves.

In addition to Deutschmann’s output, the Flyers received four goals

and an assist from Eric Lyon, five assists from Dylan Golden, three

assists from Phillip Lyon, a goal and assist from Ryan Daley, a goal and

an assist from Anthony Thompson and 15 saves by goalie Dustin Nowick.

Mats Degerstedt scored three goals, Jeffrey Deutschmann scored twice

with an assist, Donald Kohler scored twice, Jason Wall scored once with

three assists, Brad Barber and Michael Mendez each scored once with an

assist, Michael Burkhardt had four assists, and Zach Weisman had two

assists to lead LBZ.

For The Surf, Adam Daley scored three goals, Kevin Lachman scored

twice, Chad Ramsey scored once with two assists, Shane Lakes and Kyle

Enlow each had two assists, Michael Mongelli had an assist, and the

goalie trio of Eric Morejon, Ryan Doyle, and Ross Turchi combined for 25

saves.

Anarchy 11, Flamebo 6

Rocco Grimaldi scored three goals and had an assist; Steven Tomita

also scored three goals; Daniel Ha, Devan Chargualaf, and Brandon

Cunningham each scored once with a pair of assists; Dakota Eveland scored

once with an assist; Donald Watts scored once; Jake Thistle had a pair of

assists; and goalie Zach Goldstein had 12 saves for Anarchy.

Bradley Groen scored two goals and added two assists, Kevin Morrison

scored twice, Raymond Frianeza scored once with an assist, Jason Holmes

scored once, and Maxwell Igwe handed out two assists for Flamebo.
