SCHOOL LUNCH MENU

The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day
at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree if
desired. The selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or hot
entree. School lunches are $1.75 each; the district does not accept
checks for less than $17.50. Here’s what’s being served this week:
TODAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or beef tostada salad on a flat tortilla shell
with lettuce and cheese, 100% fruit juice, choice of milk
WEDNESDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or chicken nuggets, green beans, fresh baked
roll, frozen 100% fruit juice bar, choice of milk
THURSDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry
sauce, fresh baked roll, frozen 100% fruit juice bar, choice of milk
FRIDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or chees-a-dilla, peas, 100% fruit juice, choice
of milk
MONDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or Dannon blended yogurt with peanut butter and
jelly “uncrustable” sandwich, baby carrots with low-fat dip, harvest
fruit bread, choice of milk
* The Munchable Lunch Salad contains tossed greens, cherry tomatoes,
crackers and protein sources such as cheese, sunflower seeds, fruit
yogurt, honey-roasted peanuts and dressing.
