Girls basketball: Eagles fall in tournament opener

IRVINE - The Estancia High girls basketball team lost the opening
game of the University Tournament to El Modena, 66-56, Saturday
afternoon.
Freshman Trisha Wase led the Eagles (1-1) with 13 points, while Xochitl Byfield and Lisa Hirata each chipped in with 11 points.
The Eagles will continue in the University Tournament tonight against
Torrance, beginning at 8 p.m.UNIVERSITY TOURNAMENT
