Boys water polo: Tars’ Belden Sea View MVP
- Share via
Newport Harbor High senior Peter Belden, who led the Sailors to
their fourth straight Sea View League title, as well as their first CIF
Southern Section Division I championship since 1984, has been named Sea
View Most Valuable Player by the circuit’s coaches.
Belden, a first-team all-league pick as a junior, was joined on the
first team by senior teammates Ryan Cook, Steve Jendrusina and Joey
Snelgrove. Cook was a first-team pick a year ago and Jendrusina was a
second-team choice last fall.
Harbor seniors Caine Littrell, Kyle Bean and goalie Brandon McLain are
second-team honorees.
