Flyers topple Flames, 7-1

Jared Musacchio scored twice and assisted two other scores Monday

night to help lead the Flyers to a 7-1 victory over the Flames in a

Smythe Division game played at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in

Huntington Beach.

Damian Raburn also scored twice, Joey Mahoney scored once with a pair

of assists, Cole Bonanni scored once with an assist, Chase Obenauer

scored once, and goalie Brent Holden recorded 21 saves as the Flyers

remained near the top of the standings with a 5-1 record.

David Taylor scored, and goalie Blake Easton had 23 saves for the

Flames (2-3-2).

Thunderblades 6, Crunch 2

Bryan Marony poured in two goals with an assist, Aaron Sutton scored

twice, Bryan Bennett scored once with an assist, and goalie Kyle Bezayiff

had 24 saves for the Thunderblades (4-1-1). William DeWitt scored both

goals, and goalie Jarrett Powers had 34 saves to lead Crunch (1-3-2).

Stars 7, Scorpions 2

Martin DeJong scored twice with an assist, David Marabella scored

twice, and goalie Kyle Bezayiff had 31 saves for the Stars (1-2-2).

Allison Dufault scored once with an assist, Kevin Christi scored, and

goalie Jaryd Mason had 24 saves for the Scorpions (3-3).

Flames 3, Sabres 3

David Taylor scored twice, and goalie Blake Easton had 32 saves as the

Flames, playing their second game of the night, tied the division-leading

Sabres (4-1-2), who received two goals from Michael Mowrey and 33 saves

from goalie Garrett Ono.
