AYSO Region 120: Chili Peppers blank Pumpkin Power

The Red Hot Chili Peppers defeated the Pumpkin Power, 2-0, Friday

in AYSO Region 120 girls under 12 action.

Amanda Watson scored in the first quarter for the Chili Peppers, while

Olivia Clark added an insurance goal late in the fourth quarter off a

pass from Kelly Ryan.

Goalkeeper Ashley Rendon had fives saves to preserve the shutout,

while Kristina Roche, Maricruz Crooks and Emily Olson played well on

defense.

On Saturday, the Chili Peppers played to a scoreless tie.

In boys under 8 action:

In the Cheetah’s contest against the Raiders, Andy Ibarra scored three

goals, while Estevan Ibarra and Ricky Aguilar each added single goals.

The Cheetah’s defense was led by Sean Ryan, Trace Curet, Everett Brown

and Maurice Martens.
