* Elden Avenue: Mail tampering was reported in the 2600 block at 12:47
a.m. Tuesday.
* Monrovia Avenue: A car was stolen in the 1800 block at 6:30 a.m.
Tuesday.
* Starbird Drive: Vandalism was reported in the 2700 block at 8:26
a.m. Tuesday.
* 16th Place: A home burglary was reported in the 200 block at 11:42
a.m. Tuesday.
NEWPORT BEACH
* Jamboree Road: A camera, sunglasses and prescription glasses were
stolen from a hotel room in the 1100 block at 9:40 p.m. Monday.
* Birch Street: A laptop computer was stolen from an office in the
3600 block at 10:55 a.m. Monday.
* Newport Center Drive: Burglars tried to tunnel through exterior
walls to gain access to a money drop in the 600 block at 8 a.m. Monday.
