Newport Beach District 5 City Council candidate Steve Bromberg has

Bromberg previously received support from the Newport Beach Police

advertisements for him, District 7 candidate and incumbent Tom Thomson
and District 2 candidate Gary L. Proctor.
A committee supporting Proctor’s election also reported $18,411 in
late expenditures for mailers and a $2,500 contribution from William
Shatluck of Newport Beach.
The Newport Beach Tomorrow committee has so far raised $32,000 and
