* Bellflower Avenue: Police responded to a vehicle burglary in the
11000 block at 8:27 p.m. Oct. 25.
* Brookhurst Street: Police responded to a fight that occurred in the
17000 block at 1:38 a.m. Saturday.
* Edinger Avenue: An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 10000 block
at 11:37 a.m. Oct. 25.
* Edinger Avenue: A reported battery occurred in the 11000 block at
7:22 p.m. Monday.
* Elbert Circle: Police responded to a juvenile disturbance in the
16000 block at 6:32 p.m. Saturday.
* El Este Avenue: A forgery was reported in the 10000 block at 7:15
p.m. Sunday.
* Ellis Avenue: Police were called in response to a missing juvenile
in the 9000 block Oct. 24.
* La Hacienda Avenue: A vehicle was vandalized in the 10000 block at
1:52 p.m. Oct. 24.
* Los Coyotes Court: An automobile tampering was reported in the 10000
block at 5:52 p.m. Friday.
* Morning Glory Avenue: An adult was reported missing from the 10000
block at 3:53 p.m. Sunday.
* Newhope Street: Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in
the 17000 block at 3:11 p.m. Friday.
* Rhea Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 9000 block at 8:48
p.m. Friday.
* Slater Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 10000 block at 6:57
p.m. Oct. 25.
* Snowdrop Avenue: A disturbance of the peace was reported in the
11000 block at 2:17 a.m. Saturday.
* Sparrow Avenue: Police broke up a loud party in the 10000 block at
10:25 p.m. Saturday.
HUNTINGTON BEACH
* Algonquin Street: Two juveniles were reportedly driving recklessly,
joy riding along the street in a white Toyota Tercel in the 16000 block
at 2:49 a.m. Sunday.
* Beach Boulevard: A 9 mm Beretta handgun was reported stolen from a
vehicle parked in the 18000 block at 9:50 p.m. Oct. 26.
* Berkshire Lane: Police received a report of indecent exposure after
a woman drove home and found a naked man waiting in front of her house in
the 19000 block at 11:30 p.m. Friday.
* Burlcrest Drive: Someone told police that five boys were igniting
fireworks at a school in the 8000 block at 9:32 p.m. Saturday.
* Cadiz Circle: A resident told police that vandals had thrown eggs at
a 30-foot Winnebago while it was parked in front of a home in the 6000
block at 8:09 a.m. Oct. 23.
* Dairyview Circle: Someone reported a group of people wielding
baseball bats and causing a disturbance in the 17000 block at 2:39 a.m.
Sunday.
* Lennox Drive: Someone told police four juveniles between the ages of
11 and 13 were skateboarding up and down the street despite posted signs
that prohibited the action in the 6000 block at 2:22 p.m. Sunday.
* Manhattan Drive: Someone reported four inflatable pumpkins and two
white ghosts, all of which were outside Halloween decorations, stolen
from the frontyard of a home in the 6000 block at 10:26 p.m. Friday.
* Newland Street and Yorktown Avenue: Someone told police that a
juvenile was throwing exploding firecrackers from a moving vehicle into
the bed of a pickup truck driving through the intersection at 6:16 p.m.
Oct. 24.
* Parkside Lane: Police and firefighters responded to a car fire
reported by a number of residents in the 16000 block at 12:27 a.m.
Friday.
* Pierside Circle: Police received a report of a loud party, with
blaring music and people yelling, occurring in the 500 block at 12:04
a.m. Oct. 25.
* Santiago Drive: Someone reported receiving multiple harassing phone
calls at a home in the 9000 block at 1:32 p.m. Friday.
* Shasta Lane: A resident reported catching a neighbor on video tape
as she slashed someone’s tires in what is reportedly her fourth instance
of vandalism toward neighbors in the 15000 block at 10:23 a.m. Saturday.
* Snowbird Drive: A man reported an undetermined amount of firewood
stolen from the front patio of his home in the 8000 block at 11 a.m.
Sunday.
* Springdale Street: A resident told police that a prowler had removed
the screen from a window and was trying to break into a home in the 17000
block at 2:33 a.m. Sunday.
* Vista del Sol: Police responded to a family disturbance reported in
the frontyard of a home in the 6000 block at 8:31 p.m. Oct. 24.
* 8th Street: A homeowner reported two pumpkins stolen and a front
gate broken, which freed two dogs, at a home in the 400 block at 7:45
p.m. Oct. 23.
