Girls golf: Edison wins Estancia Tournament

COSTA MESA - Estancia High senior Anh Do led the host Eagles with

an 18-hole round of 105, but Edison took top honors among seven girls

golf teams at the fourth annual Estancia Tournament Monday at the Costa

Mesa Golf & Country Club’s Mesa Linda Course, par 70.

Edison was five strokes better than second-place Marina, which was led

by medalist Lisa Sweller, who shot a 9-over-par 79.

Estancia, which finished fifth, opens Pacific Coast League play today

against cross-town rival Costa Mesa at the same site.
