* Newport Boulevard: Burglary was reported in the 1900 block at 1:55

p.m. Wednesday.

* Paularino Avenue: Auto theft was reported in the 500 block at 6:12

a.m. Wednesday.

* Adams Avenue: Prostitution was reported in the 1500 block at 6:45

p.m. Wednesday.

* Bryson Springs: A hit-and-run incident that caused property damage

was reported in the 400 block at 2:50 p.m. Wednesday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* West Balboa Boulevard: An unknown person was reported to have kicked

holes through a living room wall in a suspected attempt to burglarize a

home in the 4500 block at 4 a.m. Tuesday.

* Sherington Place: Vehicle license plates were reported stolen in the

1700 block at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
