* Costa Mesa and Corona del Mar freeways: A burglary was reported at

3:05 a.m. Tuesday.

* East 17th Street: Assault and battery was reported in the 170 block

at 12:40 a.m. Wednesday.

* Hamilton Street: A public fight was reported in the 500 block at

8:40 p.m. Tuesday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* West Balboa Boulevard and 14th Street: Infliction of injury was

reported at 11:55 p.m. Tuesday.

* MacArthur Boulevard: Two people were reported to have shattered a

glass door at La Salsa restaurant in the 4300 block at 6:29 a.m. Monday.

* Irvine Avenue: Grand theft was reported in the 800 block at 2:33

a.m. Monday.
