Boys and Girls club basketball league sign-ups approaching

NEWPORT BEACH - The Boys and Girls Club of the Harbor Area

Eastbluff Branch will be holding registration for the upcoming winter

basketball leagues for youngsters in grades 1-8.

Registration is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Boys and Girls

Club, located at 2555 Vista Del Oro in Newport Beach.

There is an instruction program for grades 1-2 and a competitive

league for grades 3-8.

The registration fee is $90 for the instruction program and $120, plus

a $30 refundable uniform deposit, for the competitive league.

The season starts in December and runs through March. There will be 10

games plus a double-elimination playoff.
