FOUNTAIN VALLEY* Bluebird Avenue: A petty theft occurred in the 8000
block at 5:21 p.m. Tuesday.
* Brookhurst Street: A suspicious subject was reported in the 18000
block at 10:17 a.m. Saturday.
* Brookhurst Street: Police were called to respond to a petty theft in
the 17000 block at 1:39 p.m. Sept. 7.
* Brookhurst Street: Police were called in response to suspicious
circumstances in the 18000 block at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday.
* Circulo de Zapata Circle: A juvenile disturbance was reported in the
10000 block at 8:53 p.m. Friday.
* El Rey Avenue: A family dispute was reported in the 9000 block at
2:24 a.m. Sept. 7.
* El Rey Avenue: Police were called in response to loud music coming
from the 9000 block at 1:14 a.m. Monday.
* Euclid Street: An intoxicated subject was reported in the 17000
block at 5:40 p.m. Sept. 5.* Harbor Boulevard: A forgery was reported in
the 16000 block at 5:43 p.m. Sept. 5.
* Jasmine Avenue: Loud, disturbing noises were reported in the 9000
block at 5:22 p.m. Saturday.
* Newhope Street: A vehicle was reported stolen from the 17000 block
at 4:23 p.m. Sunday.
* St. Veronica Court: Police responded to a disturbance of the peace
in the 18000 block at 3:37 p.m. Sept. 5.* Talbert Avenue: A suspicious
subject was reported in the 10000 block at 8:14 a.m. Sept. 7.* Trower
Court: Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 18000 block at
8:20 a.m. Sunday.
* Warner Avenue: An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 8000 block
at 2:40 p.m. Friday.
HUNTINGTON BEACH
* Alabama Street: Police received a report of vandalism -- dents and
profanities scratched into the paint of a gray truck and a black car --
in the 700 block at 1:10 p.m. Sept 7.
* Beach Boulevard: A prowler was reported sitting outside a home in
the 20000 block at 10:30 p.m. Sept 6.
* Beach Boulevard and Talbert Avenue: A stray dog, described as a
black Labrador retriever, was reported wandering in the intersection at
10:04 a.m. Saturday.
* Bolsa Chica Road: Police received a report that eight juveniles were
seen spray-painting a wall in the 16000 block at 6:21 p.m. Friday.
* Bolsa Chica Road: A man was reported to be drunk in public, carrying
a bottle of hard liquor and daring cars to hit him as he crossed Heil
Avenue in the 16000 block at 4:23 p.m. Friday.
* Cadiz Circle: Someone reportedly broke into the backyard of a home,
whose owners were out of town, and stole a tortoise from a caged pen in
the 6000 block at 5:35 p.m. Sept. 6.
* Edinger Avenue: A woman reported that someone had used her identity
to start an account at a business in the 7000 block at 4:28 p.m. Sept. 7.
* Garfield and Seapoint avenues: A resident told police he heard
fireworks exploding near the intersection at 12:33 a.m. Saturday.
* Goldenwest Street: Someone reported a reckless driver in a silver
truck racing around the jogging trail behind an equestrian center in the
18000 block at 6:24 p.m. Sept. 7.
* Heil Avenue: Someone reportedly poured a gallon of white paint
across the windshield of an automobile parked in front of a home in the
4000 block at 3:35 p.m. Sept. 4.
* Main Street: A forgery was reported when someone apparently cashed
three checks, for a total of $2,995, at a bank in the 2000 block at 2:48
p.m. Sept. 6.
* Main Street: A resident reported receiving threatening phone calls
at a business in the 18000 block at 8:42 p.m. Monday.
* Memphis Avenue: Someone reported a loud party with six people
yelling, making other noise and causing a general disturbance in the 300
block at 2:35 a.m. Sept 5.
* Mountjoy Drive: A cellular phone valued at $100 was reported stolen
from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 7000 block at 3:21 p.m. Sept 6.
* Newland Street: Police responded to a family disturbance reported at
a home in the 21000 block at 3:02 a.m. Sept. 4.
* Pacific Coast Highway: A resident reported seeing a naked man get
into a red truck and drive off in the 17000 block at 7:21 p.m. Sept. 6.
* Phoenix Lane: Police responded to a report of shots fired in the
19000 block at 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
* Sher Lane: Police responded to a family disturbance reported in the
16000 block at 9:16 p.m. Sunday.
* Stanley Walk Lane: A woman told police vandals had apparently keyed
her car, a 2000 Toyota Corolla, in the 17000 block at 5:04 p.m. Sept 4.
* Transistor Lane: Police recovered a stolen 1991 Chevy minivan with
flat tires and the interior torn out in the 15000 block at 7:30 am. Sept.
6.
* 21st Street: Someone reported 15 computers missing from a business
in the 500 block at 11:32 a.m. Sept 5.
* Veronica Drive: A cellular phone was reported stolen from inside a
shoe in a community park near the 9000 block at 9:15 a.m. Monday.
