Fletcher Jones Motorcars in Newport Beach will hold an opportunity

drawing Wednesday to benefit the Balboa Performing Arts Theater

Foundation, which plans to renovate the Balboa Theater.

Estimated proceeds from the drawing are $90,000, a nice chunk of money

for the foundation, which still needs to raise about $3 million, said

executive director Michele Roberge.

And with only 1,000 tickets sold, the odds of driving off the lot in

the sleek two-seater are far better than winning the California Lottery.

Anyone interested in trying their luck can still buy tickets from the

foundation at (949) 673-0895 or by showing up early for the 7 p.m.

drawing at Fletcher Jones Motorcars, 3300 Jamboree Road. Tickets will be

sold until 6:45 p.m.

Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
