OCC offers summer sports camp for kids

Orange Coast College is hosting its 18th annual Summer Sports and

Activity Camp for children ages 5 to 12. The weekly camp will focus on

summer fun by offering a variety of sports activities and afternoon water

adventures. Camp options include mornings, afternoons or full days. The

program runs through mid-August.

Children will learn skills in volleyball, swimming, track and field,

soccer, basketball and softball.

Registration fee is $75 for the 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. camp; $49 for the

12:30 to 4:30 p.m. camp; and $110 for full-day sessions, from 9 a.m. to

4:30 p.m. Discounts for multiple sessions are available.

To register, visit OCC’s community education office, open from 9 a.m.

to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to

noon Saturday.
